You can increase the length of illumination time by carefully pointing the solar panel to face south and avoid any overhanging plants or trees that may block the sunshine. The lights can be adjusted from static to flashing – simply by pressing the button on the rear of the panel. On a flashing setting the solar lights will shine up to 20% longer than static.
LED solar fairy lights are not as bright as their mains electric counterparts but they are delicate and reliable in the summer months. Remember to work fully they do need sunshine.

Where do I position the device?
